We’ve flipped the script on our usual Christmas event – out with the 12 Streams of Christmas, and in with The Raid Before Christmas!

After the success of the previous two years 12 Streams of Christmas events, we felt that we needed a re-boot for 2025, and after collating and considering feedback from the previous events audiences and participates, we’ve properly flipped the script!

  • No more Submission Videos
  • No more voting for your favourites
  • No more small limit to the number of DJs about to take part
  • No more technical testing
  • No more streaming on a single Twitch channel

Yep – that’s right, for 2025, The Raid Before Christmas hits differently:

  • 40 hours of B2B HYPEFAM DJs
  • Starting on Saturday 20th December 2025 at 12pm GMT / 7am EST
  • Finishing on Monday 22nd December 2025 at 4am GMT / Sunday 21st December 2025 at 11pm EST
  • Streaming from their own Twitch account
  • Ability to stream to multiple platforms at the same time (optional)

Qualifying Criteria

  • You must be a current, and active member of the James Hype Discord server.
  • You must Login/Register with RaidPal using your Twitch Account.
  • Members will be given a RaidPal Access Code to join the event from within the James Hype Discord server.
  • All DJs are to begin and finish their sets promptly at the allocated time. DJs are expected to respect their time slot and manually RAID into the next DJ (if automatic raiding is not operational).
  • DJs MUST utilise the supplied OBS Overlay and Streaming Assets during the promotion of and broadcast of their livestream set.

No More Submissions or Voting

That's right - we've scrapped the Video Submissions and Voting in favour of greater flexibility, more DJs and more opportunities for all!

Under 18s NOW PERMITTED

As long as you have permission to have a Twitch Account in your Country and the ability to livestream, you're finally able to take part!

1 Hour Sets for ALL

Yep - not only have we increased the total number of DJs who can take part in the event, we've also increased the set time to 1 hour for EVERY DJ! That's 40 DJs across 40 hours of B2B livestreaming!
